Ah, I forgot about Meet Me In St. Louis. Embarrassed because I have it on DVD. Yes, that has a nice Christmas sequence.
 
It’s a Wonderful Life, definitely.

Watched it on Christmas day and I had tears in my eyes at the end, as usual 🙂

I’d watch it, though, if I were with others who wanted to watch it. This year the people I’m celebrating Christmas with want to watch “Rio” and “Rio 2.” I’ll watch, for sure, but I’m also going to lobby for “Scrooge.”:

You’re not the only one that doesn’t like A Christmas Story. I’ve never seen it but have seen trailers for it and have no desire to watch it.

That’s my favorite too. I missed it this year.

My favorite scene is when George kisses Mary only seconds after telling her he wanted to do what he wanted to do and never get married. That’s probably my favorite movie kiss of all time!
 
I don’t have a single favorite. These are the movies I watch come December to help get into the Christmas “mood”, in no particular order.

A Christmas Story
A Charlie Brown Christmas
A Muppet Christmas Carol
 
My favorite by far is the Polar Express. It may be about Santa and all that, but I especially love the song, “Believe” in the movie. “You have everything you need, if you just believe!”

When I first saw that movie I thought it was odd, bur after the second time, I loved it!

I live just outside of Cleveland and see the house most visits there. THEIR lamp is awesome, but one house down the street has one in a Plexiglas box attached to their window :rolleyes:
