I like Saint movies, always so inspiring. For me, perhaps, my favorite is called “Entertaining Angels”. It’s about Dorothy Day, who is not officially a Saint, but for me she is still a little saint.

What is your favorite Saint movie?

I guess I would say St. Kateri Tekakwitha. EWTN usually shows a Saints film on Saturday evenings and a lot of them have a lot to be desired production wise but the one about Kateri was pretty good I thought.

This is the only one I can say I’ve seen, but the ending was really moving.

Bernadette of Lourdes is my favorite.

I don’t watch many movies or TV but I did see John Paul II on EWTN and liked it.

Bernadette has really become one of my favorites. She was very funny. I must make a short list of some of her antics and post it.

😀

Hope you do post that list I’ve never thought of St. Bernadette as funny!

Most people don’t know much about her life after Lourdes, but it is very beautiful and interesting.

Many Saints are funny and lighthearted and I’d love to know more about St. Bernadette’s later life.

St. Teresa of Avila who I’m named after had a wonderful sense of humor!

Please do,Bernadette is my confirmation name and I would like to get to know her more 🙂

I loved her sense of humor as well. One of the things she was well known for was her majestic Sign of the Cross. And all of her fellow Sisters knew full well from whom she learned this…the Blessed Mother herself! One time, when she was just a postulant, she observed Sr. Vincent Garros rapidly making the Sign of the Cross. She said to her; "Is there something wrong with your arm? Or are you just in a hurry? You make the sign of the cross badly. You must see to that, for it is important to make it well”

St. Giuseppe Moscati: Dr. to the Poor. It is an Italian movie subtitled in English. Simply beautiful.
