What Is Your Favorite Mystery and Why

I started to reply yesterday, but my message got way to wordy, so I put it away for the night. But happy to see all the Pro Luminous Mystery folks. Sure, I pray the other 3, especially Sorrowful during Lent. But like the chance to meditate on the Luminous events.

Would say the Wedding at Cana, Transfiguration, Institute of Eucharist (last Supper). So easy to put ourselves there with the Apostles and try to see these event through their eyes.

I just got the book today “the New Rosary in Scripture” by Edward Sri. I hope it will help me.

I’ve met Ted Sri! He came into the FOCUS headquarters where I was working to talk with Curtis Martin. Dr. Sri’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met! I’ve never read any of his material but the titles all look like they’re incredible reads.

To answer the OP:
The Transfiguration is my favorite. I’m a simpleton and I need things spelled out for me when it comes to the duality of Christ’s nature (fully man and Fully God), so that one helps me actually see Christ’s Divinity plain and simple. It’s also full of so much symbolism with Moses and Elijah and the cloud surrounding the mountain (like in Exodus)…just beautiful

I sent in this post this morning at 10:25am, today at around 3:30pm I went to confession. The penance the priest gave me was to say 1 decade from the Luminous Mystery, The Wedding at Cana.

I’am just sayin…

I can only narrow it to three (and those are for right now only). The Ascension - He took all that all of us go through every day up to heaven.
The Assumption - Mary was a creature and He took her up with Him to heaven, so I have a chance as long as I follow her in following Him.
The Visitation - this totally deals with 1.) our day to day life, and 2.) Our Lords wonderfulness (it even affected Saint John the Baptist in the womb).
