What is your favorite quote from a Saint or any one?

I really like that a lot, even though Mother Teresa was not the author of it. In fact, there isa whole list of “her” quotes that her own sisters have kept, saying that she should not be credited with them. Actually, a man wrote that and I can’t remember his name. She did have a copy of it hanging somewhere I believe, and that may be why it is wrongly attributed to her.

But I like it anyway. A lot. 😊
 
I kind of wondered myself about some of Mother Theresa’s supposed quotes, especially the long ones.

Do you happen to have that list of quotes that the Sisters say are not truly hers?

A good quote is a good quote just like a good prayer is a good prayer. I frequently see St. Margaret Mary’s Sacred Heart Novena prayer attributed to St. Padre Pio, who was apparently fond of saying it, but did not write it himself. And St. Francis of Assisi seems to get credited with prayers written by others frequently also.
 
I will see if I can find it. I had it saved on the old CAF, but that’s gone so, let me see.
