Overkill - Men At Work

Honorable mentions:
Authority Song - John Mellencamp
Human Nature - Michael Jackson
I Love LA - Randy Newman
In a Big Country - Big Country
Seek and Destroy - Metallica
Walking On a Thin Line - Huey Lewis and the News
What Is Love? - Howard Jones

There’s a lot of songs I like…can’t really decide. 🔥🔥🔥

I think I will go with Journey’s Frontiers and Escape and Perry’s Album “Street talk”… “O Sherrie” for 83 and 84, etc.

This is a great song. 🙂

I was really into music back then, when I think about it.

My friends and I always had the stereo on in the car when we were out driving around, or when we were at each other’s homes. Then if they had MTV, we would sit around and stare at that! 😁 😉

Unforgettable - Johnny Mathis (in a tribute to Nat King Cole)

One of my closest girlfriends loved AC/DC, and had one of their cassette tapes which she would play every time for awhile when we would go out together in her car.

I have all of the lyrics to their older songs ingrained in my head and in my memory, including this song…😁

I might be wrong, but I think that’s 1980. Still it’s a great song!

Possibly unpopular opinion: I liked Angus Young as a singer far more than Bon Scott. Scott, whenever the song was slower and he more talk-sang sounded like the weird noises Pat would make on those Saturday Night Live sketches.

I always thought you were a woman! 😱
I certainly am. 🙂

That’s why I have the username that I have, so that others would know that they’re talking to a female on the forum.

I was responding in my last post that my girlfriend liked AC/DC back in the day. She went through a phase where she played that AC/DC cassette over and over again.

Many young ladies liked rock music back then, myself included. 🙂

Thank you. I can see I read your post wrong. I was trying to talk, read posts, and listen to TV. Not a good idea for me.

Lets Dance is one of those songs that stays along with Rebel, Rebel . A tribute to Bowie.

I’m glad that I could clear that up for you.

I often get too distracted when I try to do too much at one time. 😊

I don’t like to try and make any assumptions about others when posting on a forum…

This is just me speaking about this.

I feel that it can make for an awkward situation to say the least, especially regarding someone’s username, and whether or not they are male or female. 😉

God bless you!
