👋 Whatevergirl, if you have never heard Josh Groban sing, go to Youtube and enter in his name. You can see him perform two of my fav’s You Raise Me Up & The Prayer with Celine Dion. He’s only 26 years old and what a voice! Of course Andrea Bocelli is my fav to sing The Prayer with Celine Dion, but Josh is #2!👍

Oh is he a Christian singer? I love Christian rock music now…and contemporary…it is so uplifting…I cry nearly every time I listen to my cd’s.:o I will check that out, and I would highly recommend that you take a look at ‘I Can Only Imagine’ by MercyMe…wow! You will love it, I’m sure. 🙂

I bought “Christmas Eve and Other Stories” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra last month. It was the first CD I’d bought in a long time. I buy downloads now, I really don’t like CDs all that much anymore. Now vinyl is a different story. I love my vinyl collection, and I add to it as as much as possible.
 
“Mystical Chant” (25 songs) - that is Gregorian chants - most of the songs are for Advent, Christmas, Easter, All Saints Day, etc …

Got it from “Fry’s” for $2.50 😃
I and g/f bought about 10 of them for friends. 😃

No, I don’t think it is. I’ve been checking Amazon every week for over a month now, and it isn’t listed. As soon as it’s released, I’m buying it. I’ll buy the CD instead of buying it from iTunes, because I don’t want their DRM. 😦

According to good ol’ reliable Wikipedia, TSO’s next non-Christmas album (Night Castle) is due out in Spring 2008. Keep in mind that they already have released one non-Christmas album (Beethoven’s Last Night), which is probably my favorite of theirs.

If you like TSO, you might try Savatage, particularly their albums “Dead Winter Dead” and “The Wake of Magellan”, both of which are Rock Operas. TSO’s song “Christmas Eve / Sarajevo 12/24” actually originated on “Dead Winter Dead” and brought them such radio airplay that TSO was formed.

As per the thread, my most recent album is Ghost Opera by Kamelot. You can hear some of the tracks on the Kamelot MySpace page. Great disc, at least, it is if you enjoy orchestral power metal! 😉

No. He isn’t considered a Christian singer, though I’m not sure what category he falls into. I will check out ‘I Can Only Imagine’ by MercyMe. Thanks!🙂
