What is your position concerning the concept of hell?

Tom what i think of muslims and their faith i say to both catholics and muslims. I don’t change my opinions depending on the people i happen to be with at the time. If i’m conversing with a muslim about the faith i will point out the errors in the faith and explain my beliefs, i’m not the type to back down from an argument especially when it comes to defending the faith. I’m not afraid to speak the faith if it means offending someone, i don’t care what faith they are from.
 
My concept of hell is that it’s a scare tactic to force people to believe in God and if you don’t believe, then you’re off to hell. If there is a “good” God, I can’t imagine him being so cruel as to even come up with the concept of hell.

As far as I’m concerned, if your beliefs are correct, hell limits the mercy of God. If your God was really THAT merciful like you all claim, then there would be no such thing as hell.

To me, hell is when you want to know the truth but there are too many different beliefs and religions out there that contradict one another. To hell with it!

You’re better off being an atheist.

yeah right but some non believer used to do this with prophet muhammad pbuh and it mention in Quran that is why i ask you if you are not like those ppl at that time. But sorry if i hurt your feeling i want to talk what Allah/God knows about non believer mention in Quran.
 
Anywho, back to the op.

I like what Fr. Groeschel says about about hell:

Hell is the kindest place for people who cannot accept God to spend eternity.

So why there is heaven huh. what is the use for it. If there is heaven there is hell you got it athiest. Now start believing on one God coz you are definately going in hell if you donot believe in creator of this universe. for you Einstein therory Big Bang

Hi Chanel,

If you actually had a half an idea you might know that it wasn’t god that came up with the concept of hell, it was satan. God did not create hell, the devil did when he disobeyed god. Yes is god is merciful and he is also just! The best thing about it is it’s not him that sends us to hell, we do it oursleves, we have a choice (free will) between evil and good. What we choose is up to us.

God’s will is for all mankind to be with him in heaven, ofcourse he didn’t have to give us freewill, but he loves us that much that he did give us!

Hey i like that!

I love the old saying about hell. It’s an oldie but a goodie " you don’t believe in hell?..you will when you get there!".

Talk to anyone like that, you definetely wont get “believers”. If you really believe in a good God, you wouldn’t use that tone with me or even condemn like that! Do you think your God would want you to talk to atheists like that?!? Think again on that one pal!!!

Its not funny. Hell is omg
But interesting is that no one knows who are going in hell or heaven. May Allah send non believer in hell too its up to Allah coz God is mercifull. YOU NEVER KNOW. So i apologize

No i am not suppose to anyone humanbeing like that but i am kind of hyper i am not anger i am talking in my exciting way. I am happy right now donot want you to angery to or upset. just proving my self and conveying Allah/God words to you all.

Well you might want to think about how you word things and use them next time, whether you’re hyper or not. I don’t know, you might be so happy that you like to condemn folks, you know, that chemical running through your brain that makes you feel so good that you have to condemn. Whatever.

sigh And here I am, an atheist who doesn’t believe in God and doesn’t treat people that way. Amazing how that works.
