What justification do we have for the attention given to Mary?

Another take on the veneration of Mary is that in the Davidic Kingdom the Queen Mother was the Queen -not the wife(wives) of the King. Since Jesus is King would not his Mother be Queen as God promised to David a King of his lineage to sit on the throne forever?
 
She’s the Mother of God. She’s the Mother of Jesus, our Savior who is God. The Bible says that all generations will call her blessed. Plus, Jesus gave her to us as our Mother while He was dying on the cross. I think those are plenty of reasons to venerate the Blessed Mother.
