what kind of qualities do nuns have?

hi i was just wondering what kinda qualities do you expect from a nun that makes them different from married or single woman? besides the clothing of course but the attitudes and everything i guess. im not asking to be mean im just curious because ive been recently considering being a nun and i dont really know to much of what to expect. i have known some nuns before and most of them seem very nice but is there something else about them? do u have to be a certain kind of person? :confused:

You might want to contact various orders to see what they’re all about. The nuns themselves would be the best to answer your questions. And not all orders wear the habit these days. I also looked into being a nun. But age and a few other things got in the way. If I had my choice, it would have been the Carmelites. 😉

Some have the habit of prayer.

Not many today have the habit of the Flying Nun.
