Aramis;3133966:
Fundamentally, to be Catholic is to accept the dogmas of the church and to be in union with Rome.
To be in union with Rome. Romans crucified Jesus, so I would say in order to be in union with Rome, we would have to reject Christ.
“Rome” stands for “The authority of the Church that Christ founded upon Peter, whom He called the Rock of the Church, and said, “Whatever you bind is bound, and whatever you release is released.””
We are not talking about pagan Rome, or even the city of Rome, but the
concept of Rome as the seat of authority in the only Church that Christ ever established on this earth.
You wont catch me dead rejecting My Saviour.
GOOD, then obey Him by getting into His Church - quit giving lip-service and eye-service, and start giving hands-and-feet service to your Lord and Master, with the first step being to get into His household, and quit living in the garage, or on the front lawn, or down the street somewhere.
