What makes marriage a sacrament?? What passages of scripture refer to it as a sacrament. Thank you!!

Well, I am not certain, but I will give it a shot. A sacrament is essentially an outward sign of a divine thing. We know that in marriage two people are joined together in one flesh by God. So Marriage would be an outward sign that two people are now one flesh while it is actually God who makes them one flesh.
