To be Catholic means being in communion with the church - or, more precisely the Pope, who’s seen as the visible source of unity.

Of course the Pope doesn’t have to be in communion with you to be Catholic
Yes, that’s what I was told by my priest. Just trust in the Pope and the Catholic Church; they speak for God.

Technically all the Catholics in the world could cease to be in communion with the Pope and then the Pope alone would constitute the Catholic Church - he can never not be in communion with himself.

After I converted the priest told me I was Catholic. Sounded good enough to me…

Hi

Referring to

As a Christian ecclesiastical term, Catholic - from the Greek adjective καθολικός, meaning “general” or “universal” [1] - is described in the Oxford English Dictionary as follows ( sorry, I have omitted).

Using the general meaning of Catholic “from the Greek adjective καθολικός, meaning “general” or "universal” as given above, in my opinion, while remaining a stead fast peaceful Ahmadiyya RealMuslim, I have a claim of being a Catholic in a different way. Jesus was a Jew and his message was for the Jews only, not a Universal message in my humble opinion.

In my opinion his true teachings and truthful account of his life and that of his mother Mary and of his Signs and of his twelve disciples is best defined in the revealed book Quran. Since I believe all of this; so I am a real follower of JesusYeshuaIssa and Quran’s message is general and universal both, so in this sense I am a RealCatholic also, as I am a RealMuslim. This is just to express my own faith, and without prejudice to others, rather with due respect to others who may believe otherwise and of course differently.

Please don’t mind, I have my own reasons to love Jesus and Mary truthfully and sincerely.

Thanks
