***** DISCLAIMER: Although it might seem like I need more psychological help than spiritual health, this is a serious post. I don’t post stuff like this just for kicks of others. I’m posting so I can get a better understanding of how much imaginations are allowed to run and whether or not I am in the wrong. If your just going to read this post and just laugh at the end and crack jokes, please skip this and God bless you.*****
Two things have lead me up to asking this question. One is seeing a similar post (I think mine is going to be different but not entirely sure) though I left the post confused. The other is something my pastor taught me when confronted by temptation and such. Although not exactly word for word, the general idea was to wrap your temptations and whatnot and to bash them against the Rock of Christ to rid yourself of the immediate temptation. He said he was speaking of a passage though I forgotten which one.
Anyway…
I have an overactive imagination. The way my imagination works is by combining different things into one scenario or sequence, depending on what I am doing or how I’m feeling. Typically involves a lot of non-real instances such characters and objects from favorite anime series, lore and such from games I play, and I always add a music track or two. Sometimes I might switch it up a little bit and add something from the real-world or even a real-world event.
Like I said… overactive.
Without going into too much detail (and possibly scaring you off), my question comes when my mind decides to get sensual. Basically it’ll come to part where I’m with this one girl that the imagination is playing around. The whole sequence was never about love making or sex in general. However, lets say my imagination goes with us maybe under some bed covers though you see us just kissing and that’s about it. But what if there is the encounter were we are having sex? Sometimes I think about the lust/adultery position and therefore “smash” the encounter (see above if your forgot what I mean). Can it be wrong if the encounter is with an individual who does not truly exist, as in have no physical flesh and blood form. And what if say we were actually married in the encounter though in the real-world I’m single?
Sorry if I made your heads hurt. I was actually thinking of going into a little more detail with the sequences so you could get an understanding but I think if I did people would actually leave the post with a headache. If you want a better understanding of what the sequences are like, send a message and I’ll try to get you one out.
