Ditto on those. Three of my favorites also.

We Were Soldiers…I can’t listen to the final hymn the same way every again after that movie…

I have never seen The Color Purple (yet).

But Sophie’s Choice had me sobbing in the theater. Especially since I had small children at the time.

My mother used to say of very bad situations, “It hurt too much to cry.” This was one of them. When that movie ended, I sat in the theater motionless dry-eyed with my mouth open for quite a while. Schindler’s List was another movie like that, where the ending was so touching, it was beyond tears.

Amen - I think every supporter of the death penalty should be made to watch it, I know I was bawling at the end. But it was kind of a good feeling as well, because he did make a good end.
 
My Dog Skip had me crying uncontrollable sobs.
More recently Babel really moved me.

“The Power of One” is an amazingly emotional movie, about apartheid in So. Africa. Makes me cry everytime. I also cry in Braveheart, another favorite.
