What other times can people enter the Catholic Church?

I’ve heard that some parrishes have groups of RCIA candidates that enter the Catholic Church at times other than Easter vigil.

Are there any special times of the year other than Easter when this usually happens?
 
My friend’s son just entered the Catholic Church a week ago, Sunday. He got married this past Saturday but I know he had to take instruction (not sure about RCIA though)
 
This past year our parish had the candidates (baptized non-Catholic Christians) enter the Church on Pentecost.
 
we have another ongoing thread that also answers this question. the answer is adults entering the Church can be confirmed at any time the bishop selects, or whenever he delegates priests to confirm. Baptized Christians may be received into the Church whenever they are ready, and confirmed as I say when the bishop chooses, in fact there are good arguments for not entering at Easter, to avoid confusion with the unbaptized. Catechumens are received during the Easter vigil unless there is a grave pastoral reason for another occasion (such as in mission territory).
