I scanned the thread, and it ends up closed. And it is several months old.

I found it interesting that the author makes note of several points that he wants to open another thread on to properly examiine and refute…but he never does.

Well, at least the threads do not appear in his forum since the time of the referenced thread closing.

Seems to me he found some points that he could not refute and then changed the subject.

He’s in college, so he’s arrogant. That comes with the territory. Give the kid a few years in the real world and he’ll be off his high horse.

There’s nothing more annoying than a college student who knows it all, but give him time. He’ll soon learn that he’s just beginning to learn. 🙂
Again I have to say, I resemble that opinion (out of college, into the real world, beginning to understand that I udnerstand little)

It is like the time when you realized that your parents were not idiots after all…😛

LOL

Aren’t they just cute as a bug and deliciously entertaining at that age? I’ll hit 50 this year and I know exactly what you mean. The longer you live, the better you understand how little you know. 😃

Yeah, those folks sound pretty open-minded to me…

Something about a plank and an eye comes to mind, I don’t know why.
Sorry, but I’m somewhere in between. Don’t take one discussion forum for all of Protestantism. Triumphal statements about both among Catholics and among Protestants. They get nowhere preaching to their choir, and Catholics get nowhere preaching to their choir.

The true test is respectful engagement free of “gotcha” remarks. I am sure that Jesus would prefer that (but that is just my opinion).

Christian unity is a hard thing, and I wonder if any part of the Christian world is really ready for it.
