All these videos are freely available from YouTube and consist of the most precious versions of the Holy Rosary and The Way of the Cross by St Francis of Assisi. It took several listenings but eventually became spiritual addicting and never fails to defeat spiritual dryness whenever it occurs. To be perfectly honest, I did like these versions of the Holy Rosary at first but after a few listenings, they quickly became addictive and now make other version boring in comparison. I listen to them every morning when I first wake up, and often again during the day whenever I feel dryness.

Sorrowful Mysteries - Tuesday & Friday

Luminous Mysteries - Thursday

I seem to pick up on something new that stimulates my spirituality with each listening session.

Robert, if they work for you great. Me, I choose the consecration at daily mass. The thought of what is happening obliterates any dryness I could ever feel.

Shalom

Robert, I enjoy the videos on UTUBE, also. Not for spiritual dryness, but because many are so peaceful. Sometimes I just let them play in the background as I go about my day. I esp. like the Gregorian Chants, and of course the Rosary. Peace.

thank you for that; the rosary usually always works for me…

I record Mother Angelica Live Classics on my DVR so that I can tune into her show whenever I’m down. The Rosary helps too of course, especially if you offer it specifically to pull you out of depression. Psalms 34 and 51 always give me comfort when I’m in despair, or when I’ve sinned.

For myself , it mostly depends on the scenario I find myself in ,
I have always found physical work clears my mind ,
By fully concentrating on physical work it clears my mind of things that are important and things that are trivial nonsense ,
Then after a few days , everything of importance seems to fall into place ,and trivia is in the minds trash can ,
I feel Spiritually renewed , ready to get back into the Bible & Prayer ,
What works for me, doesn’t work for everyone, it works for me without fail,

I also engage in Centering Prayer several times during the day that keeps my mind from wandering thoughts.

The Rosary. I never would have thought that in the past. I’m amazed at how much peace and hope it gives me. Also, I try to go out into nature away from people. The earth is perfect as created by God, we just screw it up.

For me I find its acts of trust or abandoning myself to God’s will, and going to Our Lady. Also praying before the Blessed Sacrament
