Well, if you actually read your own question instead of pooping out the only thing you can think of, you would have realised the so called “LDS church” already solved that problem giving everyone the Melchezadick Priesthood. Isn’t that what you wanted anyways?
Huh?

That doesn’t answer the question, at all. You’ve been claiming throught this thread the LDS members were “idiots” if they thought the priesthood ban affected salvation.

I’ve asked you what the LDS teaching is on the celestial kingdom, which ordiances are required for entrance, and which temples performed those neccessary “saving ordinances” to people who didn’t hold the Melchizedek priesthood.

Again, maybe that question I “pooped out” is a little clearer. You didn’t answer it.

The forth time you asked this question

"Which LDS temples have you been to that are performing endowments, sealings, and marriages (or even a temple recommend, for that matter)…

to non-holders of the LDS Mel priesthood???"

The answer is all of the temples.

The saving ordinances there are baptism, confirmation, initiatories and endowment and sealing.

Nice dodge. How about to all MALE non-holders of the LDS Mel priesthood?

No body is conferred to the priesthood in the temple, since that is not a requirement for the celestrial kindgom. So any non member can have work done on them even if they weren’t holders of the priesthood.

The saving ordinances there are baptism, confirmation, initiatories and endowment and sealing.

Huh, your just throwing trash out there you crusader spreader.

Like i said Brigham Young was an idiot
Are Mormons hands of the past clean? Wasn’t there a massacre that occurred by Mormon militia?
The Mountain Meadows massacre involved a mass slaughter of the Fancher-Baker emigrant wagon train at Mountain Meadows in the Utah Territory by the local Mormon militia in September 1857. It began as an attack, quickly turned into a siege, and eventually culminated on September 11, 1857, in the execution of the unarmed emigrants after their surrender.
On Friday, September 11, 1857, two Mormon militiamen approached the Fancher party wagons with a white flag and were soon followed by Indian agent and militia officer John D. Lee. Lee told the battle-weary emigrants that he had negotiated a truce with the Paiutes, whereby they could be escorted safely to Cedar City under Mormon protection in exchange for turning all of their livestock and supplies over to the Native Americans.[20] Accepting this, the emigrants were led out of their fortification. When a signal was given, the Mormon militiamen turned and executed the male members of the Fancher party standing by their side. According to Mormon sources, the militia let a group of Paiute Indians execute the women and children. The bodies of the dead were gathered and looted for valuables, and were then left in shallow graves or on the open ground. Members of the Mormon militia were sworn to secrecy. A plan was set to blame the massacre on the Indians. The militia did not kill 17 small children who were deemed too young to relate the story. These children were taken in by local Mormon families. The children were later reclaimed by the U.S. Army and returned to relatives.
Throwing the crusades out there, when they crusaded to take back the holy land from non-Christians with the intent of running Christians out is a bad example in my opinion, especially when it comes to killing that is something that happened in both histories.

In reference to the “priesthood”, when Lehi supposedly came to the Americas, it was Old Testament law that priest had to be descendants of Aaron. Lehi ordained two of his sons. Wasn’t Lehi a descendant of Joseph? Considering the time frame that Mormons say this happened, wouldn’t this invalidate Mormon priesthood according to succession?

So, as a non holder of the Melchizedek priesthood, I (Scipio) can take part in an endowment and sealing?
…For a male member of the Church to hold the priesthood, an authorized priesthood holder must confer it on him and ordain him to an office in that priesthood (see Hebrews 5:4; D&C 42:11; Articles of Faith 1:5).
…the authority of the priesthood is bestowed only on worthy male members of the Church

“In the Church, an ordinance is a sacred, formal act performed by the authority of the priesthood. Some ordinances are essential to our exaltation. These ordinances are called saving ordinances. They include baptism, confirmation, ordination to the Melchizedek Priesthood (for men), the temple endowment, and the marriage sealing. With each of these ordinances, we enter into solemn covenants with the Lord.”

More logical support for this racist “revealation”:

“There is a reason why one man is born black and with other disadvantages, while another is born white with great advantage. The reason is that we once had an estate before we came here, and were obedient, more or less, to the laws that were given us there. Those who were faithful in all things there received greater blessings here, and those who were not faithful received less… There were no neutrals in the war in heaven. All took sides either with Christ or with Satan. Every man had his agency there, and men receive rewards here based upon their actions there, just as they will receive rewards hereafter for deeds done in the body. The Negro, evidently, is receiving the reward he merits.”

Joseph Fielding Smith, 10th President of the Church

The Mechezadich priesthood is an Ordinance but not a saving ordinance. So anyone can go to heaven even if they never received the priesthood.

Here is your reference:

Scorpio, if you wanted to, you don’t need the priesthood to go to the temple and get your endowments. They are completely different things.

Wrong again. Are you sure you’re LDS?
All men who become heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ will have to receive the fulness of the ordinances of his kingdom; and those who will not receive all the ordinances will come short of the fulness of that glory
Joseph Fielding Smith
And in order to obtain the highest, a man must enter into this order of the priesthood [meaning the new and everlasting covenant of marriage];

And if he does not, he cannot obtain it.
He may enter into the other, but that is the end of his kingdom; he cannot have an increase
D&C 131

Scorpio, your just taking bits and pieces of a large topic, like you usually do. (how do you possibly learn like this). Joseph Fielding Smith wasn’t explaining it all in that tiny quote of yours.

Huh? You just quoted the Melchizedek priesthood as a saving ordinance. You do know you’re cutting down your own premise, right?

And I’m not talking about “heaven”, I’m talking about the “highest degree of glory”, ie, the celestial kingdom.

The Melchizedek, endowment, and marriage sealings are all required for exaltation. In other words, if you were a black man who died before 1978, you hope for some proxy ordinances, otherwise, you’re S.O.L.

And you’re trying to pick the fly poop out of the pepper.

Unless, of course, you’re claiming that the Mel priesthood, and the successive ordinances aren’t required for exaltation?

This quote is talking about exactly what i’m talking about. Where you need all the ordinances like baptism to be saved.

And in order to obtain the highest, a man must enter into this order of the priesthood [meaning the new and everlasting covenant of marriage];

And if he does not, he cannot obtain it.

He may enter into the other, but that is the end of his kingdom; he cannot have an increase

this quote is the same thing. When he is talking about order of the priesthood, he means the ordinances of the priesthood, which are baptism and sealings so forth.

So, in summation, the saving ordinances (the Mel priesthood being a primary one) are all neccessary for exaltation, which blacks were not offered.

Thank you for making my point for me.

the Priesthood Is an ordinance but not a saving ordinance. Just like how a mission is something we believe god is calling people to do but its not something required for the celestrial kingdom. Boy, i didn’t know you would be interested in sunday school with me.

Then why do living Mormons ordain dead males to an Elder?

Let me break it down for you:

Temple Endowment and marriage are required for exaltation and entrance into the Celestial Kingdom.

Ordination to the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods is neccessary for Endowment.

Endowment is required for temple sealings (marriages, and so forth)

Blacks, prior to 1978 were denied ordination to the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods.

Blacks, prior to 1978, could not take part in a Temple Endowment or Sealing because they did not hold the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods.

Blacks, prior to 1978, could not attain exaltation, or entrance into the Celestial Kingdom.

Thank you again.

Now, does this make all LDS prior to 1978 “idiots” since these ordinances are required for exaltation, and since the priesthood ban most assuredly affected the “salvation” of blacks?
