So mormon prophets were racists. If you want to compare, Popes have ten’s of thousands of lives on their hands in the name of their god. I would rather deny someone the priesthood than murder someone because they couldn’t convert.

I would rather have a few isolated people who commit unspeakable acts under their own conscience than to have abject hatred codified as religious dogma.

Again, it just wasn’t the priesthood that was denied, it was the highest form of salvation in your celestial kingdom. All because they were “less valiant” in the preexistence, and damned with dark skin and curly hair.
