None, its people that are the largest threat. Albeit People misguided by the Devil nonetheless.

What does “all of you” mean in this case? I am not going to let you lump me in with them.
What are you even talking about? You are the one that stated “I am an agnostic that had no religious upbringing like Hitler and Stalin did” which made no sense to me or my response before that. I was just trying to figure out your logic and I am still at a loss.

I’m not thrilled with the choices on the poll. Honestly I would have loved to have the ‘religion’ of moral relativism on there. That’s the TRUEST threat to mankind. I’d also like to see deism on there. I can’t believe how many liberal folks are switching over to that whole “I believe there’s definitely a god, but he’s formless and has nothing to do with us, never intervening or caring about our goings-on here on Earth” pseudo-religion.

Judaism definitely is a silly option on the poll, too. After the Holocaust and all that the Jews have been through, I think it’s they who have more reason to be fearful of their fellow men!

Again, I say moral relativism and the idea that truth is subjective and individualized. Benedict XVI hit the nail on the head with that one.

Not your personal phobias, but which religions are a genuine threat to humanity? You may pick more than one, but please don’t pick them all or it defeats the whole purpose of the thread. Choose the ones which you believe to be relatively more harmful. Then discuss the reasons why you believe them to be more harmful.
The most dangerous religions are the ones that sound Christian, but aren’t. They talk about Jesus, but it is ‘another Jesus’ as Paul puts it. They have a gospel, but it is ‘another gospel’ as the great apostle again warns. They have a form of godliness, but not the power, as Paul said to Timothy. They have a lot of religion, but don’t show you how to have a relationship with the Savior. Some of them even argue against ‘once saved, always saved’ but they are not qualified to talk about it. Why? Because they really don’t know what ‘once saved’ means, so how could they ever talk about ‘always saved’

those are the truly dangerous!

That doesn’t sound very Christian to me. Anyway do these nations have written in thier constitution that they will be known as a Christian nation? Just curious.
No. They just had a majority Christian population who either actively participated or allowed it to happen.

I agree with the relativism comment. Its the newest and greatest threat to Christian ideals and world view.

For my answer to the poll question. I would say that Christianity and Islam are the two most threatening religions.

Christianity is the most spiritual threatening in it’s truth. If Christ is right…everyone else who is not a Christian is wrong and is in serious trouble. Its the most threaten religion to those who don’t believe what the Bible says.

Islam is the most physically threaten religion. Muhammad is the greatest prophet in Islam and is the ideal and best example to follow. Muhammad was a religious, political, and military leader. He was most successful at gathering followers during his war campaigns.

I would encourage everyone to spend some time studying the history of Islam and Muhammad.

my 2 cents…

Not having Christianity on the list is really stupid. Even if your on a Christian forum, it should be a price.

The #1 religion I’d be afraid to take over, would be Islam.
The #1 religious organization I’d be afraid to take would be the RCC.

The constitution in place back then was the one of 1919, but widely ignored since 1933, does not explicitly say Germany is a Christian nation. But 96% of all Germans back then were Christians, roughly half Catholic, half Protestant. Therefore labelling Germany as a Christian country is appropriate. Even nowadays with only 67% Christians it is still approriate, especially with a Christian party ruling and a constitution starting with the words “Im Bewußtsein seiner Verantwortung vor Gott und den Menschen”.

Why don’t you have Christian? It was a Christian country that killed 6 million jews and uncounted Slavs.
If you’re talking about the Third Reich, it was PRECISELY a rejection of Christianity that led the Nazis to do this.

Just like it was official state-sponsored atheism that led the Soviet Union to murder its own Christian people–30 million under Stalin.

I find the asking or answering this question ignorance and bigotry.

In every part of the world there are a certain small percentage of brutal people. These brutes can and have taken any religion, political ideology, or other issue that flames peoples passions, focus only the parts that make it a Casus Belli and shun the rest.

The important part is for the larger part of the population to see through their lies. Historically people have been, and to a large degree continue to be too unquestioning in their support for leaders calling for war or other forms of violence.

It also wouldn’t hurt if people stopped mythologizing and romanticizing war. In America we have sanitized and propagandized WWII down to a totally unrecognizable event in history.

It was not Christians who killed the 6 million Jews but Nazis who calimed be Christian and were not. You have no proof that Nazis were true Christian. They were not.

Radical Hinduism is a growing threat in India.this Radicalization happened due to the moon god cult(Islam) followers whose gore and animosity results in Hindus taking Preventive Measures.
But ,the Backlash came to Christianity in India. Some Hindus feels Christianity is a Utter failure in India. But ,they forgets One of the First Christians of the world ,Syrian Nazarenese(NasranI) of Kerala state is won by St.Thomas for Our Lord Jesus Before the term “christianity” was coined out in Rome. 🙂
