and we have no idea who we are, where we came from, where we’re going, or even understand our surroundings no matter what we do. and never will.

Yes. “Heavy is the burden placed on all the Sons of Adam from the moment they come forth from the mother’s womb, till the moment they return to the mother of all.”

“In darkness coming, in darkness departing. Better untimely born than he.”

That is why we need Jesus- to make sense of the futility of existence.
So let us rejoice in this sorrowful predicament, that we may help to carry the Cross of our Beloved Saviour and of our fellow exiles.

Indeed - how sad it is that we are so caught up in assuming that we must be special, that we must be part of some grand cosmic plan, that there must be a ‘reason’ for our existence beyond the natural explanations of evolution and social dynamics; that we are so caught up in wondering, “Where did we come from?” “Why are we here?” and “Where are we going?” that we seldom stop to appreciate the moments of our finite yet amazingly lucky existence.

The belief in an “amazingly **lucky **existence” is at odds with the success of science - which is not derived from luck but something far more powerful and far more significant…

Hi Itullian, this does not sound to me like a question. More like of a statement of unbelief. From past experience, I dont think moderators will take to kindly if you persist in promoting that agenda 🙂 God bless.

You can only say that because you haven’t done the work to discover either who or what you are beyond yuour self indulgent thoughts of being lost. You will find out by discovery, or you will findout by default. I assure you, discovery is far preferable. So youu can moan and groan and take up people’s reading time on here with your complaints, or you can do some work. So far I’ve sen you do little if any engagement of any offerings presented you, so maybe you justl like where you are, and the rewards you get from complaining? Then that is the reward you will experience.

And the picture you portray is only of yourself. Many people are rightly or mistakenly, that does for learningg as well, happy with thier efforts to find their peace byond moaning about lack of answers. Your mind will never provide you with satisfying answers and only make more questions unless you freeze in some paradigm that you feel safe in till you move again. Maybe you fgeel safe in complaint mode? OK then. Enjoy it while it lasts, or do something.

I mioght get smacked for being “uncharitable,” but hey, somtimes you gotta tell your bro to get off his keester or ask if he’s gameing.

But we know we can be children of God. He will give us this status free.

Be joyful and take the gift. 😃
