My husband an I have made arrangements to have our youngest child baptized. We were not married when he was born. :nope: We were embarrassed about this, and put off getting him baptized. Anyway, he is now 5-1/2 years old (and we are married now 👍 ), and we have made arrangements to have him baptized. My question may be a simple one, but since I don’t know the answer I have to ask. How should we dress him for the ceremony? Should he wear a white suit? Does it matter?

Traditionally, those receiving baptism wear white as a symbol of being washed clean of all sin. It is not required, but dressing your son in white would add to the dignity and symbolic meaning of the occasion.
