I am recently troubled by my friends’ problems. One of my friends has a girlfriend and they are about to get married. He told me several days ago that he still has some feelings on his ex-girl. These two girls are both catholics. What should he do? Should he pick his ex-girl and the current girl?

BTW, what are your standards/expectations of your future husband/wife?

Feelings lie.

If he is mature and ready to commit, he should stop playing with these “feelings”, be a man and honor his wife.

the marriage vow is to forsake all others.

doesn’t mean that another isn’t prettier, smarter, better employed, etc. only that we forsake them and give ourselves freely and completely to this one.

if he can’t do that with this woman, he shouldn’t marry. if he can, he will quickly learn the meaning of forsaking all others begins just how kage-ar described.
