Hi there, I’m a 25 year old college student that was baptized and confirmed as Lutheran. However, as time has gone by I’ve been left with more to desire from Lutheranism. For the past few months I’ve been reading a lot about the system of Patron Saints, the different services and other historical background. I’ve decided to make the switch but I have a few questions first that I wanted to ask here before I met with a priest at my nearby gathering.
If I am baptized already and confirmed do I have to do both again during RCIA?
Will I be tested on what I learn during RCIA?
Is there anything else I can expect when going through the change?
I apologize if you receive this question all the time but I really want to prepare myself for when I go in for my meeting. I’ve been inspired lately (by Pope Francis) to learn more about the Jesuits and as I learn more and more about the Society of Jesus I feel myself being drawn towards it after college.
