What should we do with Bible fragments?

I am a religion teacher, and in my classroom there are many very heavily used Bibles. Some are in two pieces, and there are lots of pages torn out and covers lying around, detached from their bindings. What is the proper way to dispose of fragments of Bibles? Thank you!
