I haven’t given this much thought or research, but here goes…

When God gave the Hebrews The Law and led them out of Egypt into the promised land, He did so with many great and Glorious signs.
When He established the New Covenant, He sent His only Begotton Son with many signs and wonders, culminating with Christ’s Resurection and Ascention. The Early Church Started with more signs and marvels. Tongues, healings, etc.

If Luther and Calvin et. al. were truly, shall we say, “sent of God to restore His Church”, shouldn’t we expect some sorts of “Heavenly signs” of this? What signs and wonders (healings, resurrections, etc.) can be pointed to that clearly demonstrate their Divinely ordained mission?

Peace
James

No…why would there be? When Athanasius had to practically fix the church on his own against the Arians, there was no lightning and thunder from the heavens. Other than his preaching, of course.
