What signs of climate change do you see

For as long as I can remember, people have been talking about the weather as being ‘more’ one way or another then they felt before.

Winters are colder…or they are warmer.
Summer is hotter…or not so much.
We have more snow then ever…we don’t see much snow anymore.

And yet on paper, one year looks much like the one previous and the decade earlier, and even the decade before that.

Has anyone else noticed local weather forecasters have started using ‘Heat Index’ instead of the actual temperature? I have. And it makes me wonder if the reason has to do with the non-sensational actual data as opposed to the sensational record breaking hot or cold heat index.

Is the climate changing? Probably. Climate has been changing since before man walked the earth.
It would seem odd if the climate were not changing.
Is it hotter or colder? That is an interesting question, and one I am not going to answer at this time.
Is man responsible? I doubt it. Climate has been changing before we arrived. It will continue to change when we are gone and there is little we can do about it but to adapt and move on.

If you see visible evidence of climate change, it’s pretty obvious.

Maybe you live near a retreating glacier

This thread again, is not about anthropogenic or natural causes.

No one seems to be able to share an actual example of climate change, although I enjoy bringing up the [recent] desertification of Northern Africa.

Certainly in Australia the climate temperatures have been increasing for some years
Radical climate change or cyclic weather patterns…either way somewhat disturbing.

There are a lot of weather phenomena that are naturally and normally cyclical.

For example, our Australian friends should please comment.

I am reminded of a terrible drought there, … all kinds of plans for generating drinking water with expensive plans … and then it rained.

Turns out these anti-droughts are on a 50-year cycle.
