The tensions between those two caused the band to split up in 1989… The concert 20 years ago must have been right before the second split when Lynch was fired from Dokken ('97-'98?) … which didn’t take long after reuniting from their first split back in '93. :crazy_face:

Oh well, I thought Dokken was one of the better bands during the glam metal era. But George Lynch has also put out some good music of his own with Lynch Mob over the years…

Yes, it was 1997. Slaughter, Warrant, Dokken, and Alice Cooper. Each successive vocalist was a little older and wore his leather pants a little tighter. 😜 My brother has his Lynch Mob albums. I always liked his solo album, too. As a youngster, I was disappointed to discover that I misheard the lyrics to what I thought was “Weekend Sensation”. 😂 Turns out it was “Wicked Sensation.” 🤨
 
Right now listening to Victoria’s Secret by Sonata Arctica. And, no, it’s not about lingerie. 😝

Yeah, great song to usher in the “weekend”… Woohoo!

Glad we have the internet now to look this stuff up. 🤣
