I’ve been listening to the entire Sonata Arctica discography on repeat for the past couple of months. I know some folks don’t like their newer stuff, but I like it all. Even the songs of theirs that are my least favorite, I still can’t help but sing along to.

I’ve been listening to the entire Sonata Arctica discography on repeat for the past couple of months. I know some folks don’t like their newer stuff, but I like it all. Even the songs of theirs that are my least favorite, I still can’t help but sing along to.

Back when I was getting into power metal, they were one of the only bands, along with Blind Guardian and Nightwish, I really heard of outside the Internet. Personally, it took a little bit of time for me to really get into them, but albums like Ecliptica and Reckoning Night won me over.
