Another group of musicians that offered some interesting instrumental music, Focus. A Dutch progressive band in the 70’s that had elements of rock and classical.

I was listening to them earlier. Now “Focus III” is in my head and I’m humming bits of it now and then.
One of my favourite bands of all time. (I love instrumental music.)

OK, maybe just a chick song, but I think this is absolutely beautiful:

Steve Perry “Still She Cries” put to the dancing of Gene Kelly and Lesie Caron.

Those simple melodic tracks can be quite relaxing. Steve Perry/Journey did some well.

Heck, I happened upon on one from David Gates (1973) recently playing random LP tracks I had ripped. Simple but very beautiful, IMO.

Paramore - “Let The Flames Begin” (Studio w/ Lyrics)

It is well known that all of the original Paramore members have a strong Christian faith, but claim the band is not a Christian rock band. Lead vocalist Hayley Williams has a large cross tattooed on her right thigh, and was quoted as saying “My faith is the only thing that never fails me.”

Many of their song lyrics do contain subtle, if not blatant influence. I’m not aware of any official meaning for this song, but it’s interesting to note that during all live performances, Hayley adds these additional lines toward the end:

*Oh Father, Oh Father
Oh Father, My Jesus
Father, well I am ready
Won’t you let it begin
'cause I am here now
I want to dance in
the mighty palm of your hands

I’m listening to a…tech-ambience album called “Terra Nova”, by a group called Epicuros.

Listening to quite a distinctive Father and Daughter duo (called French Latino) singing ‘Historia de un Amor’ in both Spanish and French. The French starts at 2:09 and has my vote as the most romantic sounding language. 👍
