I am listening to ‘Paidir Eireann’, a beautiful song inspired by a traditional Irish blessing:

'May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon you
May you garner all you lack

etc etc

And until we see each other
And until we meet again
May God’s eye be ever on you
May He hold you in His hand.

It comes in the CD of a Catholic group called ‘Seasons’, I have the impression they are brothers and sisters. They play and sing beautifully!!

I want to reply/comment/like so many posts but… I would never get off CAF which wouldn’t be very prudent. Anyway, I know the prayer and the song. I’m half Irish / half Italian. My mother and her entire large family were all very Irish. Anyway, great memories, great choice, great song…
