What Sunday is it?

Can i ask a daft question as i am in the process of converting from muslim to catholic. What Sunday id it in real time? I have bought a missal and am trying to work out what Sunday, 23rd 24th etc, it is next Sunday

Dear Loulwa,

Note: My first entry was incorrect. I accidentally picked us an old Liturgical calendar. The following is correct: Sunday, September 4, is the 23rd Sunday of Ordinary Time in the current Liturgical Calendar.
