From the brief reading I did on their site, I don’t believe they follow the Pope. They claim to have apostolic succession though.

They can call themselves whatever they want but It’s just another Protestant Church. Click on their “beliefs” and you’ll see they “ordain” both men & women, they do not think homosexuality is a sin, they think that divorce and subsequent remarriages are OK, and birth control is a personal decision.

I think they are claiming apostolic succession through the Old Catholic Church, which was a breakaway denomination formed in reaction to the Vatican I declaration of papal infallibility.
In the US there are several denominations which use the title Catholic and claim apostolic succession via the Old Catholic Church. Often these denominations have beliefs which are quite different from the Roman Catholic Church. For example, the Liberal Catholic Church or the Reformed Catholic Church.

There is a “Liberal Catholic Church” in a suburb not far from me.

I’ve also seen an “Independent Catholic Church” in my city, and have also heard of the “Old Catholic Church”, but basically they’re non-denominational churches with a “high church” feel

You know how Vatican II produced various break-away factions (Lefebrearites, etc). Well, Vatican I (which defined Papal infallibility) also caused some to dissent. The most notable of these were the “Old Catholics”
Their Bishops (and their validly-Ordained successors) hold valid Orders, recognized by the Holy See (although the Sacraments of the Old Catholics are valid but illicit - including Ordination).

There are a number of churches which claim “Old Catholic” Apostolic Succession or some other similar scenario. These have proliferated widely over the last 130+ years or so.
Are there some few of these Apostolic Successions which are “valid or probably valid, but illicit”? Yes. The vast majority? No.
Some were formed for political reasons (whether for good or for ill!) (The Polish National Catholic Church, some of the South American schismatic bodies).
Some were formed by rejecting the Holy See for “liberal” reasons (The Old Catholic Church – in its original iteration!; more recently for reasons having to do with disapproval of Catholic moral teaching.)
Some were formed by rejecting the Holy See for “conservative” or “traditional” reasons (SSPX – though their case is quite different; some of the South American schismatic bodies.)
Many, if not most, of what proliferates today, trace their “lineage” through one of two very questionable sources who drifted in and out of the “Old Catholic” movement. Much of what has devolved from those bodies, ie, the “Liberal Catholic Church”, the "Church of Antioch (Spruitt), etc. are more theosophical and even gnostic than Christian (even in the most liberal sense of the word.)

I’ve checked their so-called “Apostolic Succession”.
Not one, but both of the “questionable sources” are present – Harris and Vilatte. In addition, their connection with Spruitt, the Liberal Catholic churches, etc., would cause me to suspect that this is a theosophist/gnostic body.
