Luke 2:52 is pertinent to this subject, and I haven’t seen it mentioned yet.
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with man.”

Yes, Jesus knew what it was to have those physical limitations, but I think He demonstrated on many occassions that He didn’t have to, so I believe it is safe to say He was “free” of them. There were times when He did eat, and did drink, and did sleep, but I honestly don’t think that He HAD to.
You migh read the text again. It said he fasted. It didn’t say he went without food and drink; that is what you are drawing out of the text.

If you want to be a theologian, then you had best study theology. And I may sound harsh, but as smart as you may be, you have more than a little bit to learn; both in terms of education, and of wisdom.

While it may be true that there are people who are misunderstanding the interplay between Christ’s humanity and His divinity, you are risking going out on the end of a broken limb with a saw in order to cut it down. Keep sawing, and you will have one result; a mighty fall. I suspect that you have not yet had a class in Christology. Until you have had one that has a thorough survey of what has been said, and a thorough understanding of what the Church requires us to believe, and what it hasn’t yet passed judegement on, as well as what it has, you do not have the grounding to go around accusing people of heresy.

Tone it down. A touch of humility along with a touch of curiosity would do you good.

It is always dangerous to try to treat with precision the personality of Jesus. We do know that he really did take on a human nature. It was not a sham. He really did suffer and die on a cross. To deny his human nature is itself a heresy.

Oh, i’m not calling it a sham or denying His human nature.
