Well - it was a whirl wind of sacraments on Friday!! Baptism, Profession of Faith, Confession, Matrimony, then Holy Communion. It was so beautiful, and we were so blessed to be a part of it.
We ended up giving them a subscription to Magnificat (thanks puzzleannie!), and some other friends gave them a beautiful painting of the Divine Mercy. They were so pleased, and really excited about the Magnificat because they want to learn more about the order of the Mass.
The children were not there, they were too young to be still for so long, and it was blasting hot in our old non air conditioned church, so they would have have been miserable. They are accustomed to Protestant services where they get to go and paint pictures and cut out paper, so they will have to learn to sit through Mass like other children soon.
Something the parents are not used to either.
We are so excited and happy for them all - I cried when Father did the mini-wedding at the side chapel with them, especially when he asked if they would freely accept children from God, as she is 6 months pregnant with their third - it was just so beautiful.
Thank you all for your suggestions! So many good ones to choose from!
