What to do with all these Rosaries?!

I know our Divine Mercy Adoration Chapel would love some. Every time we have a new rosary donated, people take them. (Which is the purpose of having them.) Each rosary lasts at most three days. When people decide to start praying the rosary or a chaplet, finding a rosary is not an obvious thing to do. I had to search when I felt an overwhelming compulsion/desire to pray the rosary. They don’t sell them at the corner market. I finally asked a Priest before I thought of using the internet.

Places like the locations mentioned above by posters could always use rosaries.

It would be awesome to get the entire world to say the rosary. The problem is that you need to do it one rosary at a time. If there isn’t a rosary available, you may lose that person.

By the way, I think your hobby is pretty cool.👍
Thank you!

See if your priest would like them, our priest hands them out to catechumens. I know a lady that visits the sick and elderly in nursing homes and she says people request them all the time and she is trying to find an inexpensive source, as she is on a fixed income herself.
Yes, I will have to ask him. Getting a few minutes of his time is hard, but next time I do… 🙂

Giving them away would be great. or offer them to your parish to sell…
Yes, I finally gave up on the idea of making money with them (not much of a business woman anyways). I just know Our Lady promised great things for those who “propagate the Rosary,” and I want to make her happy.

  1. Your closest Catholic Street Ministry or Outreach
  2. Recovery Homes (catholic)
  3. Catechism/RCIA Classes
  4. Hospital/Hospices
  5. Keep three or more on you to give away at the right time. Always works for me. When you are in conversation with a lapsed Catholic who is thinking about returning.
I will have to start carrying them around. I saw a great idea too for homeless people you run across. Carry a bag with toiletries around with you always, and I could just add a Rosary/pamphlet for how to pray it!

Would you mind posting the link to your Etsy shop? I have one rosary that was a gift but I’m looking at buying another so I can keep one at home and one in my car for when I am away which tends to be often.
Okay, so the last time I tended to my shop was 2014. When I went to it just now, the links/images of all my Rosaries are just gone. So I will have to fix that first, then I will surely forward it to you! Thanks!

All of these suggestions are GREAT!

See if you can get them blessed by your pastor before you give them away- extra bonus for the recipient!! 👍
