What to do with extra Palms?

I was given to many palms at church today and instead of putting most of them back at the end of mass I figured I would bring them home to give to my roommates and make crosses for them. However, I still have some that I don’t know what to do with. How do I dispose of them? Should I throw them out? Should I burn them?

What is the right thing to do?

You should burn them if they’re blessed. Do it safely, of course!

Yes, either burn or bury them (giving them back to God).

Or, even better, return them to a church so they can burn them and use the ashes for next year’s Ash Wednesday.
