What to do with spilt Holy Water?

I did it earlier and just cleared it up normally but wondered if I was supposed to do something different?

Thanks.

It is not precious like the body and blood of Christ, so I wouldn’t worry at all.

I have wondered about this too. I am scrupulous and my holy water containers are small so the times I have filled them up, some of the water did not make it into the bottle and spilt on the floor. A very small amount and the rational part of me says “dont worry about it” but the scrupulous part sometimes says that I did something sinful. I suppose as long as one is not intentionally spilling holy water out of disrespect, they should not worry about it. After all, when we are sprinkled with holy water by a Bishop or priest not all of it hits its intended target.

THink of it as blessing where it lands. Drops land on the floor during sprinkling rites.

Yes, of course. In fact, an Irish friend told me that back home, people used to deliberately flick a few drops on to the floor of the porch when they blessed themselves, as it counted the same as sprinkling it on the graves out in the cemetery.
