I am currently in RCIA and I know God is calling me to do something in the church, however I am not sure what that something is. I don’t know if it is to be a teacher, a prayer warrior, a counselor, or maybe even the religious life. I would appreciate anyone praying for the Lords guidence in my life, b/c I want to do whatever He has planned for me
Thanks

Dear Father in Heaven please guide Lea1882 to make wise choices in the direction of her life after she has considered all the pros and cons for all the things she is interested in. I offer an Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be and a Fatima Prayer for her intentions.

**I am limited what I can do in the Church because
I can’t pass the MMPI. I am a Prayer Warrior because
I suffer much do to my Schizophrenia so I offer my
suffering and prayers for others. I can pray and that’s
what I do. It has been a great blessing for me. I have
a wonderful Intel iMac Computer that I bought with
my SSDI back pay when I went on Social Security.
I have not been posting as much as usual because of
my life situation and I want to be able to pray for
the people I have replied to. I will pray for your
discernment.

Praying for you from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

Let us give thanks to God the Father, who lovingly guides and nourishes his people. Let us cry out with joy:
– Glory to you, Lord, for ever.

Most gentle Father, we praise you for your love:
for the miracle of our creation and the greater miracle of our renewal.
– Glory to you, Lord, for ever.

As this day begins, fill our hearts with a desire to serve you:
may our thoughts and our actions give you glory.
– Glory to you, Lord, for ever.

Purify our hearts from all desire for evil:
let us always seek to do your will.
– Glory to you, Lord, for ever.

Open wide our hearts to the needs of all our brethren:
may they not be deprived of our love.
– Glory to you, Lord, for ever.

Praying that you find a good, holy priest to help you discern what God wants of you. May the Holy Spirit guide you both as you discuss your options together. May you not be afraid to approach a priest to help you. Praying that you find your niche in the Church, Lea. We need good souls to help sanctify our world and to pray and offer sacrifice for souls. Peace!

Dear Lea, it is loving of God to give you a sense of future vocation, but might God be intending to unfold this in the right time. Just now you are obtaining basic structures, and as God unfolded this part of His wishes for you, then we will trust that He will also unfold other aspects of His wishes for you.
We pray as Jesus taught us, “Give us this day our daily bread.”
And God will give you your daily bread, but not all at once. Fresh bread at the right time! God bless you for your response to His grace.
God is surely delighted with your willingness to serve and for the moment perhaps He is satisfied with that.

Jesus spent some time with the apostles before He made clear all He wished them to know.
Before He left them after His resurrection, Jesus explained something which may be useful to you:
Jesus said “I still have many things to say to you but they would be too much for you now. But when the Spirit comes He will lead you to the complete truth…All He tells you will be taken from what is mine.” “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but indeed…to the ends of the earth.” [John 16:8-9, 12-13, 15]

In any case, Holy Spirit of God please guide this good child of the Father to all that Your desire.

Holy Mother Mary we pray

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
