it is not meat, why would you think it is wrong to drink oj with a meal? the only thing allowed between meals for those who are bound by fasting is water and medicineIs orange juice allowed?

Do you think of yourself that you are just a little arrogant person?

Do you have the source for that?it is not meat, why would you think it is wrong to drink oj with a meal? the only thing allowed between meals for those who are bound by fasting is water and medicine
I had green tea this morning. Not sure about the hot chocolate. I think that is acceptable because I remember having it on Ash Wednesday. Hold the whipped cream. So, can we drink something besides water in between meals? Say, chai tea or a hot chocolate or soda? None of those are like food. I see why having a smoothie or protien shake would not be acceptable…
Jeremy’s post #12 above from EWTN suggests that ordinary liquids do not break the fast even if drunk between meals.Do you have the source for that?
I remember milk being allowed, or any drink that is not like a meal. Milkshakes would break the fast.
i did, especially since today is good friday…You thought that too, huh?![]()
