You won’t get to post, but here is some lively reading:
  1. Big Pulpit
A collection of articles that would interest a Catholic, and updated almost every day.

  1. National Catholic Register
The newspaper is now online and free.

https://www.ncregister.com/
  1. Catholic World Report
Latest news regarding the church.

https://www.catholicworldreport.com/
  1. Lifesite
Absolutely the best source of information on the web about the unborn, with updates about legislation and those working to end abortion.

  1. Crisis Magazine
Intellectual articles by the likes of Anthony Esolen. Remember when his ‘Catholic’ college cancelled him?

  1. Catholic Answers Magazine
Not the forum, but has articles about the faith you can send to others.

  1. Onepeterfive
A traditional Catholic? You will like this.

  1. Best in Catholic Blogging
An overview of the latest published blogs.

https://www.ncregister.com/author/tito-edwards
  1. ChurchPOP
Charming, fun pictorials such as ‘What’s in a Candy Cane? The Hidden Christian Meaning Behind the Ancient Christmas Treat’. Great for sending to teenagers who refuse to read anything long or complicated.

  1. New Advent
Articles by such luminaries as Fr. Dwight Longenecker, Edward Pentin, George Weigel.

https://www.newadvent.org/

Thanks for the list! Because the forums are closing, does that mean the website will be deleted completely or will no new threads be available, like all the posts will be archived (but still visible)?

This is where I started out. I still refer to this site before I post a question. If I can’t find an answer, it’s been great to have an option to ask others.

And The Imitation of Christ by Thomas á Kempis.

Realizing that some of the greatest Saints had nothing to read, but plenty to do.

I agree.

Definitely one of the best places for answers. New Advent is also great but as far as I can see CA shared old articles from New Advent.

Since this is now the year of St. Joseph, may I recommend the following by Father Donald Calloway: Consecration to St. Joseph: The wonders of our spiritual father.
