If you are planning not to recieve communion, is it true you shouldn’t say “Lord, I am not worthy…”?

No, one is called to participate fully in Mass once one is accepted into the Church. We don’t have to skip anything.

There’s nothing in that prayer that becomes untrue if you should choose to not receive. So there’s no reason not to pray it, and adoring God with those words is always a good thing.

So, non-Catholics shouldn’t say it?
That’s an interesting question. I don’t see what difference it makes, especially given that there is no indication that the centurion was anything but simply sympathetic to Jews, although he had faith that Jesus had command of God’s authority. Perhaps faith in Jesus would be a qualifier, not simply just being Catholic.

I suppose that depends if the non-Catholic is baptized or not. I know that the USCCB has given alternative prayers printed in the missal for our Christian and non-Christian brethren regarding communion. I also know that those seeking to enter the church through RCIA are called away from Mass after Liturgy of the Word.
