I miss the “Pushing Daisies” and wish it had more episodes. Another one I miss was the newer version of “V”. I would love it if they spun of “everyone loves Raymond” using eithor the twins or Ali’s as the primary character.

Yeah, it was pretty corny at some points. But that’s actually why I liked it. It never really took itself too seriously. Richard Dean Anderson was the best part I thought.

One I miss was a short-lived series called “My Life and Times,” which featured a senior citizen of the future reminiscing about his life. A very inventive series: that’s probably why it was taken off the air.

Another which I loved was “Northern Exposure,” which featured the adventures of a Jewish doctor stranded in Alaska with a bunch of memorable, zany characters. A great mix of comedy and drama.

I also liked very much ER, that is, the earlier episodes, some of which were highly dramatic.

I was in the studio audience for the pilot of Barney Miller.

A friend and I had gone to be in the audience for a game show. As we were coming out of the studio, we (and the rest of the audience) were approached about going to watch a new sitcom. I asked what the name of it was and was told “Barney Miller,” which I thought was a terrible name.

These people were desperate to get an audience. Nobody, after all, had heard of this show yet. Well, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a shot.

We were not all that impressed. When I saw it on TV later, I could tell the soundtrack had been “sweetened” (to use the industry’s term) by adding canned laughter at places where we didn’t laugh at all.

However, as we were exiting the studio after the taping, I remarked to my friend that if they wanted that show to be a hit, they needed to ditch all the stuff about Barney Miller’s home life and concentrate on his job at the police station. And, about three episodes or so into the series, that’s exactly what they did. (Not saying I’m responsible, but I didn’t know at the time that usually people are stationed outside to listen to the audience’s reaction after seeing the taping.)

Only sitcom where I’ve been in the audience.
 
Their are a number of T V Shows that I miss ,
But I think one of the best would be the old black & white shows of I Love Lucy ,
Good clean humour,
