Monk, Psych, The Apostle of Common Sense, Faith & Culture, The Real West, Civil War Journal, and Fr. Connor’s Church history shows.
Monk and Psych. 👍 Two of my favorites, as well. I don’t have USA and thus cannot watch them as they air, but I anxiously await the summer when they come out on DVD. 🙂

I also enjoy The Office, Lost and 24.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Supernatural, Fringe, Kyle XY, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Death Note, Bleach, America’s Funniest Home Videos

Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Office, CSI, Bear Gryls, Myth Busters, Forensics Files, anything on Tru TV or Discovery channel.
I’m not into Simpsons any longer. I used to be an avid Simpsons fan but, since they’ve been on forever, I just got tired of them also the constant Christian bashing on that show was also a big part of the reason why I stopped watching as well.

Family Guy is my guilty pleasure. I know how horrible it is and shouldn’t be watching it but it is hilarious. Just something I need to work on in my life.

If I go down my series recordings on my DVR, these are what records on a consistent basis:

WWE Wrestling (even though I’m growing rather tired of it), 24, American Idol, House, Scrubs, One True Faith, my wife loves Nip/Tuck but I really can’t stand it, Ghost Adventures which is something else my wife likes to record but she knows how I feel about those types of shows so she watches it when I’m not around or doing my own thing somewhere else throughout the house, George Lopez, My Name is Earl, Important Things with Demetri Martin, South Park (another horrible show I need to stop watching), Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill, Hell’s Kitchen, Journey Home on EWTN, and that’s about it.

Praise God for this time of year though because I have the Passion of the Christ on DVR and the Nativity Story is set up to record as well. I need to watch more movies like that and less of the depravity that runs rampant on my DVR at this current time.

I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m trying to judge others by the choice of television shows. It just has to do with my conscience and working out my own salvation with fear and trembling as Saint Paul said. God bless you all and thanks for posting.

Yea the show is about nothing, and yet I have no idea why I like this show lol
Like somebody else said earlier and to the effect of its just about ordinary life…I’m sure its blown out of proportion like most of whats on television but if you can relate to what they’re talking about, I’m sure that makes it all the more entertaining. The funniest thing I can remember about Seinfield is the Soup Nazi. NO SOUP FOR YOU!!! 😛

Numb3rs and MASH reruns are the top for the family.

My husband and I enjoy House.

And I like
Cold Case, NCIS, Criminal Minds and the Mentalist. ( Yes, I read murder mysteries too.)

24
NCIS
The Mentalist
Cold Case
Criminal Minds
Friday Night Lights
Big Love
Entourage
Burn Notice

I quite like a lot of the ‘Law and Order’ franchise - although the practice and procedure here in Oz is of course very different from the US. Funny how many crims here get ideas from such shows that they have a right to legal representation or a telephone call (they have neither here).

BEFORE giving up TV on 6 days/week for lent, I was ADDICTED! The “short list” of shows I watched regularly were (in no particular order)

Boston Legal
NCIS
CSI
CSI: NY
CSI: Miami
Numb3rs
Survivor
Worst Week
Bones
House
Lie to Me
Top Chef
Project Runway
Monk
Psych
Burn Notice

Can you see why I needed to give it up? Beyond that I’d spend hours skimming the TV hoping to find something “decent”

I currently watch Battlestar Galactica (RDM). It is my all time favorite television show. I also watch Supernatural, Smallville, and Reaper. Those are the only currently airing shows that I watch regularly. I occasionally watch an episode of the Simpsons, Family Guy, or House (semi-regular for this one). I also watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spinoff Angel. I used to watch King of the Hill but haven’t in awhile.

I don’t watch much TV anymore. That’s only partly because I don’t have cable. After all, that what teh intraweb is for. Anyway, the only shows I watch on a regular basis are:

24
Heroes
Doctor Who

I catch House every now and then, but I don’t watch it regularly because I can’t stand watching them operate on people. The characters are absolutely fascinating, though.

Just curious what tv shows people in here watch on a consistent basis. I watch a bunch of different shows from 24 to King of the Hill as well as religious programming such as The One True Faith with Michael Voris. How about the rest of you? 😃

In no particular order:

  • “The Simpsons”
  • “The Weakest Link”
  • News programmes
  • “Coronation Street” (a long-running British “soap”)
  • Horror films
  • More films
  • adaptations of crime novels
  • ancient US imports
  • …and more films
Religious TV in the UK is next to non-existent - TV reflecting the outlook of any one group is completely non-existent. We’ve never had it. I don’t watch much TV - the Net sees to that.

“King of the Hill” was interesting for a while, but it doesn’t have the genius of “The Simpsons” or “Futurama”. “American Dad” is hard to get, but it’s more amusing than “Family Guy”: that programme too often fails to tell apart the amusing from the repulsive; which is a pity.

“The Twilight Zone” is available on [Youtube.com (http://youtube.com)

As I am disabled and have time on my hands since I quit working, I was a paralegal with a law firm that specialized in real estate. I ran the title search department. I now knit prayer shawls and hats for cancer kids. I listen to more TV than I actually watch, so here is my list:
NCIS
CSI-NY
Doctor Who
Law & Order (all branches)
Forensic Files
Cold Case
Designed to Sell
Color Splash
Get Color
House (sometimes)
Unsolved Mysteries
Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives
Top Chef
Chopped
Journey Home
Anything with Scott Hahn & Fr. Corapi

I like 30 Rock and The Office…enough that I gave them both up for Lent.👍

nada, zip, zero
So you don’t watch any TV? I’m curious, did you just decide to quit watching it one day and that was it or did you gradually wean yourself from it?
I don’t watch much TV but I do like some shows on EWTN. I don’t know if I could totally give up watching it. 🤷

I don’t know if I could totally give up watching it. 🤷
Millions fall into this category. For all of us that watch tv on a daily basis, if we’re being honest with ourselves, I don’t think we could quit television cold turkey. I know I couldn’t. I don’t think watching television in of itself is a bad thing though…It just depends on what you’re watching. 🙂

News and Sports don’t count. That’s self-explanatory.

That leaves fiction and reality.

I work in the evenings and have to program my DVR, so here goes:

House
Law and Order
Mythbusters
Iron Chef America
Good Eats
Phinneas and Ferb (yeah, so what)
Red Eye

and… (I can’t believe none of you guys mentioned it)

Dirty Jobs

I usually only ever watched tv about a few hours a month at the most, but in the past few months, I’ve gotten into it a bit and this is what I’ve been watching recently…

18 & Counting
John & Kate plus 8
The Secret Life of the American Teenager
The Journey Home
Real World: Brooklyn

I used to love Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, Touched by an Angel, and Charmed…but I don’t really watch much of them anymore, but I do if I see that it’s on and I have nothing better to do.

I also watch these once in a while…

Good Eats
Unwrapped
Life with Derek
Anything on EWTN - Mother Angelica! Fr. John Corapi!
True Life
Law & Order
The Cosby Show
Roseanne
Stargate SG-1/Atlantis
I Love Lucy
