Actually, the next lines are:

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the minds true liberation.
I like both endings!

You both win. 😃

Fits great into the light coming from the Twin Stars, thank you

Love has steered the Stars
beyond our gaze set on Mars
Twin Stars have dawned
a new Faith spawned!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the minds true liberation.

Thank whoever wrote the libretto of the Musical ‘Hair’.
Now back to “What was the context behind Islam”?

I think it was much needed to correct biblical Interpretations that were going a bit astray. What do you think? 😃

That will raise a few Hairs!

What exactly was the context behind Islam? What made a man like Mohammed rise up and start a religion based around the God of Israel? What social and political conditions would have sparked this? Did he see it as a way to unite the tribes of Arabia? Did he feel alienated from those around him and decided to create a religion? Do you think Mohammed, to an extent at least, really believed in what he was teaching (this is coming from a Christian perspective)? Is there any scholarly historical study’s behind what exactly made a religion like Islam come about? Was it a product of its time bound to happen?
One thing for sure, he didn’t know who took Moses out of the water. 😉
