I have always enjoyed various movies and television programs.

The bloopers that we find on YouTube, for example, can give us some behind the scenes insights into the thinking of the writers and performers.

So … that the things we learn from the films and television programs … can sometimes be adjusted by the out-takes and bloopers.

Science is an interest as is science fiction.

So, here is a blooper “reel” of Star Trek bloopers, which I thought was useful.

I was watching Star Trek the Next Generation as I opened this thread. What a coincidence.

It’s funny to see the bloopers because as with any long-running show, you get used to them as their characters. When you realize the “real people” are quite different than their characters, it really makes you appreciate the hard work that must go into acting 👍

I always like it when a movie or TV show will feature a few of the best bloopers. It allows one to see the real people behind the show.

They did not use to here either. I guess they started doing this about 35 years ago or so and it has caught on.

I’ve only seen some Filipino and Korean shows go for the bloopers. Said types of shows that do this tend to be quite rare.
