Well, now that we`re in fantasy land…**Yes, I think it would be one of BEST things that has happened to Britain in the last four-and-a-half centuries!!! **

She could lead her nation out of their amoral Alice-in-Wonderland nightmare, and back into the loving arms of Holy Mother Church. She could redress the wrongs that were committed under the diabolical King Henry VIII, and lead the way toward long-overdue Christian Unity. She could inspire the Parliaments of England and Scotland to pass good Christian (i.e. Catholic) laws to protect their heritage…
a heritage which is now in DANGER of vanishing.
That being said…it is very unlikely to happen. Ever since the
Glorious Revolution of 1688, it has been against the law for any claimant to the throne to be anything other than Anglican. This is because Britain suffered terribly with Catholic-protestant conflicts within and without the crown during the Reformation period of the mid-1500
s and again during the English Civil War of the 1640s, and they simply wanted to end the bloodshed.
It is hopeful to note, however, that Catholics in Britain attained full rights to election in the 1800`s (they could not be members of Parliament prior to then). Also in that century great men like John Henry Newman began to realize, and proclaim, the necessity for Anglicanism to return to its Catholic roots. The late twentieth century witnessed the virtual self-destruction of the Anglican Communion that men like Newman, and others, logically predicted. Will Britains finally wake-up and see the writing on the wall? It is my sincere daily prayer that they do. Those of you who are of a like mind should become aware of the

It is my fear though, that the power BEHIND the throne has no real loyalty to any religion whatsoever. The future King, Prince Charles, was once quoted as saying that when he is king he would like the title
Defender of Faith, rather than the traditional
Defender of The Faith. It will be a very sad day when the King would just as easily deny Christ as witness to Him.
Defender of Faith? What the heck does THAT mean?
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. - Rev. 3:16 (KJV)
