Here is what we know:

There is credible evidence against hundreds of Priest they molested children

There is credible evidence that thousands of boys were molested by these priest.

The above is known and there is little to dispute about it.

These are beliefs that many may believe affect the above known facts.

You may believe that Satan is whispering in the ear of all these accusers in an effort to damage the church. You may be right.

You may believe that God has had enough of these sins and their coverups and is whispering in the ear of those in authority to file charges against all those accused. You may be right

You may believe that all this is nothing more than political theater. you may be right.

You may believe that too much time has passed and to press charges against these men violates their 4th amendment rights. You may be right.

You may believe that since this is happening to just the church and not to other institutions it is unfair, you might be right.

You may believe the only the pope has the moral authority to determine the judgement against these men. You may be right.

You may believe that even if these men are every bit as evil as other believe they are, no one should leave the church. You may be right.

You may believe that only through pray will this be resolved. You may be right.

You may believe the laity has no business voicing it opinion on these issues. You may be right.

You may believe that after 40 years has passed since this hit the new not enough investigation by church leaders has taken place and we need to make sure we don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. You may be right.

You may believe that satan is attacking these bishop trying to deceive the public opinion of the church. You may be right.

You may believe that all these accusation are slanderous. You may be right

But here is what is going to happen.

Federal and state legal authorities are going to file charges against most of the dioceses in the USA. They are not going to file charges of child molestation, but of racketeering.

Under RICO, a person who has committed “at least two acts of racketeering activity” drawn from a list of 35 crimes—27 and 8 crimes within a 10-year period can be charged with racketeering if such acts are related in one of four specified ways to an “enterprise” .Those found guilty of racketeering can be fined up to $25,000 and sentenced to 20 years in prison per racketeering count. In addition, the racketeer must forfeit all ill-gotten gains and interest in any business gained through a pattern of “racketeering activity.”

The thing about RICO is that is was written to go after the Mafia, but its broad written language allows it to be applied to many other circumstance.

Since the many of these dioceses are still actively covering up these crimes by continue to refuse turn over document, they will find themselves in a court of law.

Cardinals, bishops, priest, and lay people are going to find themselves targets of these RICO charges. Many of them may find themselves in jail.

Which dioceses are currently refusing to turn over documents to law enforcement?
 
You may believe all these accusations are just the talking heads getting their 15 mins, you may be right. Facts are there is credible evidence against hundreds of priest and credible evidence the cover up still continues to this day making the RICO act a perfect way to bring these crimes to light.

well i hope they go after laity and clergy that molested little girls too.

And do you have proof the charge is going to be racketeering.

Well I just read that YES charges have been filed. And are being considered in PA. so it ISNT ME claiming. It is a fact.
 
what type of charges. again proof, be factual, otherwise its just stirring

You said “many of these dioceses . . . continue to refuse (to) turn over documentation.” I’ll ask again, which dioceses are currently refusing to turn over documentation to law enforcement? Surely you must have a solid factual basis for claiming " many. "
 
Why dont you address the fact that thousands upon thousands have left the church because of this scandal?

The ability to flag someone because you disagree with their position shouldn’t be allowed. I will be banned again no doubt but that wont change that I have spoken facts. You are welcome to go find the same articles that I just found that shows these charges have and are being considered against dioceses. Just because you “feel” it is offensive doesn’t mean that it is. Fact don’t care about feelings.

Would you please produce a source for this? I don’t seem to be able to find anything on the internet about how RICO charges have been filed against any catholic diocese.

Ok, you got me. I work for a super secret government organization that collects proof against the church. I have decided to release all the evidence here.

I hope the moderators understand sacrasim.
