What would happen if we stop receiving Eucharist but still continue to pray etc

I am watching Eucharist on Formed and it got me thinking. If we stop receiving Eucharist, but still continue to oray, go to Church, avoid sins etc… will anything change inside us? Like spiritually? Or anything else? Would we become blind to the presence of God? Would we feel less connected with God?

Did anybody try?
 
If we could get through this life without His presence in the Eucharist, Jesus probably wouldn’t have left us His Body and Blood.
 
Various countries have been forced to “try” this during times of persecution. Catholicism has been maintain “underground.” But I don’t think we who enjoy the freedom to receive should intentionally try it. Perhaps those under persecution receive extra graces to spiritually survive on less…
 
Im going through this. I feel dead inside , my thoughts are not aligned with the mind of Christ.

Confession and communion . Must . Without him , we are nothing .

OP. One of the comments non Catholics hear in my area when they ask Catholics if Mass is celebrated every Sunday is: “Not only on Sundays but priests celebrate Mass every day. Don’t you have to eat and drink every day or is it enough with once per month or a few times per year? Mass and Holy Communion is that important!”

Catechism
1416 Communion with the Body and Blood of Christ increases the communicant’s union with the Lord, forgives his venial sins, and preserves him from grave sins. Since receiving this sacrament strengthens the bonds of charity between the communicant and Christ, it also reinforces the unity of the Church as the Mystical Body of Christ.

1417 The Church warmly recommends that the faithful receive Holy Communion when they participate in the celebration of the Eucharist; she obliges them to do so at least once a year.
