What would it take to convince you that God doesn’t exist?

I think it makes perfect sense that God would give us the time to choose to love Him and share in His nature, and then ultimately fulfill our desires. Of course, God can never be perfectly explained, otherwise faith would not exist.
Yet, essentially all religions claim their dogma to be infallible.

The illogic of atheism is

THAT THE UNIVERSE HAS ALWAYS EXISTED IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER…BUT A CREATOR COULDN’T.

To me that is the very bottom line. 👍

Don’t you think that non-christians and atheists feel guilty cheating on their spouse knowing that their spouse would feel betrayed?
Perhaps, but they would be irrational for feeling guilty.

I hadn’t realised that a sense of justice, of loyalty, of love, of betrayal, of honour, were all irrational (cue Tony and his molecules).

I do find that “rational” is often in the eye of the beholder.

You clearly haven’t realized.

Why would a specific arrangement of atoms change the value of anything? Where does honor, justice, loyalty, and love, fit in to that? Why should an atom feel guilty for anything?

Clearly materialism does not fit well with “a sense of injustice”. It does not make rational sense of it.

They help us build and maintain societies.
What? I thought the powers that be maintain societies like corporations and governments. How could altruistic ideals maintain societies? Get real, Bradski.

Corporations and governments are not separate from society. They are the result of forming societies.

I’d suggest that you spend your money wisely and vote sensibly. Corporations only gain power because we buy their products. Governments because we vote for them. The Russians tried a different system not so long ago. It didn’t work very well.

Except for the ones who call themselves agnostic atheists … another oxymoron. 😉
That reminds me of a joke, my apologies

A Jewish Atheist is talking with his son, the son says:
“I’m confused, the Christians talk about God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost”
“The Muslims talk about Allah, which is right”
The father says, loudly: “Neither, there is only one God, YHWH, and we don’t believe in him!”

This is beyond borders now. It’s a globalist economy run by the very wealthy.

Indeed. It is a tragic fact that the world is dominated by financial interests. We have become the slaves of our own invention:
No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

An agnostic atheist is a person who denies the existence of religious personal gods and consider religions to be made up mythologies but doesn’t deny the possible existence of a creator or creators to this universe.

Most atheists are agnostic atheists and it’s not an oxymoron, on the contrary it goes together and makes the most sense, it’s just someone who realized that religious personal gods and religions are human made inventions and lies, therefore surely denies these god’s existence for some reasons, therefore he is atheist.
But can’t know for sure whether there are creators for this universe, because it is beyond our ability to yet know, but most likely disbelieve in such things because no evidences of their existence but can’t fully deny it therefore he is agnostic.

An agnostic atheist is a person who disbelieve and denies the existence of the known personal religious gods and religions but can’t deny for the existence of any possible unknown gods.

This has been pointed out hundreds of times, but the “other side” simply does not understand it.
